GULS is pleased to announce that competitions will be running under a new structure this year. Second year students will not be precluded from competing in juniors, provided they have not competed in an external competition such as ALSA.
Three rounds will be conducted on a set Saturday (including preliminaries and quarters). The semi-finals and finals will then be conducted the following week (subject to sponsoring law firm confirmation).
GULS is looking for volunteers for both junior competitions and law revue.
Junior competitions start this week and Lauren is looking for people who could play clients or witnesses. Email [email protected] if you are available for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday. We urgently need volunteers for next week.
The time for external competitions registrations is impending! Slightly less impending than tomorrow's Admin exam, but impending nonetheless.
If you're interested in putting your hand up for an external competition, please read this electronic information booklet we've handily compiled for you, and submit your application no later than the 18th of June.
If you know anyone else who might be interested, please forward this message on.
